I have owned the verilux standard lamp for several years. (My husband is a diabetic with very poor eyesight, but he loves to read.) When the bulb eventually gave up, nothing else came up to its performance. I bought a replacement bulb and once again he's happy.Product Review: verilux light bulb

I ordered 2 Verilux bulbs,one was broken during shipping because the company did not put enough packing material in the box. I received a prompt refund although I would have preferred a replacement. Either I don't what I am doing or the bulb is not sitting right in the socket but it does not come on unless I push it down. So.....Product Review: verilux sux
