The fully iTouchless Fully automatic trashcan is a great kitchen or garage helper to get rid of TRASH. The can gas a good sized receptical and can be lined with two sized trash bags. The inner ring holds either bag in place and does not allow slippage. The sliding door is a great idea and is quiet and will operate either on batteries or an AC adapter. This a a very nice looking product.
I highly recommend this item.

I am so upset that I bought this horribly designed garbage can. Every time we take a full bag of garbage out it is torn open by the inner lip of the can. Whoever designed this is not very intelligent. We have to fight and struggle to get the full bag out each and every time and are about ready to throw this trash can away. Ok, so I've read everyone's review and will say, up front, that everyone is right about the inside of the can ripping/shredding garbage bags with its flawed design. Whoever designed the inside of the can needs to be fired. There's triangular "teeth" that serve no discernable function other than to make life miserable when it comes time to empty the trash. My solution? I just used thick duct tape around the inside of the rim to cover up the "teeth" and now everything's fine. No problems taking out the bag. As for the claims about the sticker on the can and having trouble getting it off, I ordered mine through Amazon and it did not come with ANY stickers on it. Maybe someone from the company read the reviews here on Amazon? : ) Lastly, the complaints about how "loud" it is and how slow the automatic opener is, I don't think the opening/closing noise is any worse than others that I've had, and the speed of the opening/closing door was fine once I put in brand new Duracells. I, for one, am very happy with this trash can. It holds A LOT of garbage because it's about 6 inches taller than the traditional can. Would I buy it again? After 11 1/2 months, the garbage can lid closed off-center, causing the hinge to break and become inoperable. I activated the 1 year warranty, paid $20 for s&h, and received a new lid. After NOT EVEN 3 MONTHS of limited use, the same exact problem recurred. This is a design flaw. I contacted iTouchless to request a warranty replacement, and was told that the warranty applied only to the original purchase and NOT to the replacement. Efforts to contact a supervisor were fruitless, so I intend to contact the California State Atty General-Consumer Complaints Division to file a complaint. I would not recommend this piece of garbage lid or piece of garbage company to anyone.
