The product may have multiple settings but from the viewpoint of the controller, you cannot tell what setting your are in except the time function. The pressure is supposed to be adjustable, but you would not know it from the feel or from any change displayed on the controller as you hit the adjustment button. I would say the pressure on the temples is somewhere between painful and skull cracking, which makes this a "do not purchase" item in my book. My head felt better before I crushed my skull, figuratively speaking, thankfully.
