Product Review: great product - be careful for pee leaks

gDiapers have been great for us so far - they are pretty convenient (for a non-disposable), they are easy to clean, and they seem comfortable. Being able to use the compostable/flushable/disposable insert when we're out and about is a good option.
The only issue we've had is that our son saturates the insert pretty quickly (especially overnight), and sometimes manages to sneak some pee out the sides of the diaper. We've been using disposables overnight to avoid waking up with a sopping baby and baby bed. We just moved up to the medium size, so maybe he was just maxed out on the small inserts.

I had to do way too much laundry while using this product. We abandoned them in favor of Natures Babycare, Earth's Best, and Seventh Generation disposables. I wish g diapers would have worked for us.
But, I would maybe try them again...just not during the newborn stage. I have heard that nothing really contains newborn's reliably.
Next kid, I would try again at 4 months.

Do not waste your money on these. I am so confused how people can actually like these diapers. They are expensive, and way harder to use than other options. The do not hold up at all. We used them for about 3 months before the velcro and snaps started coming off. They always leaked, and gave my baby diaper rash frequently. Dont invest money in these, they are too difficult try a pocket cloth diaper if you are going green, you will be amazed how easy cloth diapering can be, and surprisingly not messy!Product Review: love gdiapers!

This product is great but im wondering why this starter kit is so way over prized?! It has the exact same stuff as the large size but the small size costs 100 dollars more. You can buy the started kit in size small directly from the gDiapers web page for under 30 dollars. Seller might want to double check their prizing. I took this item off my baby shower register because of its over price.
