Product Review: g Diapers are the way to "go"
Summary: 5 Stars

We have a 7-week old daughter and we've been using 3 kinds of diapers: g diapers, Kushies ultra all-in-one cloth, and seventh gen disposables. G Diapers are by far our favorite! The Kushies don't fit well; the leg holes are huge and the waist is small, so they leak out the leg holes. By the time her legs are big enough to fit the leg holes the waist band will definitely be too small. The seventh gen diapers are great but are disposable, so we only use them occasionally. And now that we have enough g diaper covers we will likely not use the disposables at all.

The little g pants fabric is very soft and seems to be the most comfortable against her skin. The liners are easy to load in. The company recommends "pre-loading" a bunch of covers with the liner but we don't do that. It's pretty easy to just pull the wet one out and put a new one in while she's lying on the changing table. The liner core actually seems to dissolve in the toilet, it's pretty amazing. Then the liner cover is nothing more than a wad of toilet paper-like material that you flush, too. The liners are absorbent; no problems there. Sometimes when she poops she gets a bit on the little g pants. I just clean it off well then wash them with the regular laundry.

We go through about 3 little g pants per day (they just get a little stinky from the pee in the liner). I'd recommend buying at least 6 little g pants so that you don't have to do laundry too often to always have clean covers. Both amazon and diapers.com have a good deal on the liners.

The way the velcro works is good, too. They're the easiest to put on her.

These are my husband's favorite for her. He usually tosses the wet liners in the trash but likes the way they fit her and that they are made without plastic.

I was so excited about this product until I actually used it. If you like to get poop on your hands, your baby's foot, and the changing table, by all means use this product. If you're like me and don't prefer to get poop everywhere, then use something else.

They are super cute, though. I just wish they actually worked.

I had seen these online and figured that since we are trying to go more green that we would give them a try. We have been really pleased. They are really simple to use and better yet NO MORE STINK in the house. The only thing is I wish they would come up with a flushable and biodegradable wipe. Because you can flush the gdiaper insert but then you are still left with a dirty wipe to throw away.

Product Review: gdiapers not that great
Summary: 2 Stars

excited to try were a BIG disappointment. The diaper is 3 parts 1 outer cloth covering 2 inner waterproof liner and 3 flushable disposable diaper lining. The liner itself was soiled each diaper change (have a nursing 9 wk old), The stater kit comes with only 4 liners so didn't even make it through a day without having to wash them. Also, the disposable "flushable" liners clogged up our pipes.....Also lots of the gel they use as the absorbent in the diaper liners came out in what seemed like an unnecessary amount. I guess if you were using pure cloth and washing all the time anyway, you might like them for an element of convenience. If you are used to using disposables, the convenience will not be the same.....save your $$$$$$

Product Review: great for my 3 month old
Summary: 5 Stars

I love gDiapers. I have 2 boys one starting to potty train and another who is 3 months old. I only wish I found out about these with my first son. It is helpful to go to the gDiapers website to view the instructional video (www.gdiapers.com). This shows you how to properly set up the diaper and put it on your baby to avoid leaks. I have had no problems with leaks from a BM or urine. gDiapers have worked great for me and I feel so much better about them biodegrading in 50-150 days (if I can't flush them) opposed to 500 years in a landfill.
