The product I am reviewing is the Ziploc bag with the double zipper or Smart Zip feature. The NDC number of my box (025700003502) matches the one on this page, though the feature is not mentioned in the description.
I bought the Ziploc double zipper bag because I needed a sturdy bag to store my Amish friendship bread batter. The zipper system makes this bag truly unique. It works beautifully -- my most favorite zip system yet. I can feel it zipping closed and so there is no problem with the two tracks not lining up properly. It's a nice, strong hold and I haven't experienced any problems.
The bag itself is strong, not too thin. There are thicker bags on the market, but this is not a freezer bag. It is suitable for general storage. The bag has an area for writing, to make it easier to mark with markers or pens.
I will continue to buy Ziploc for my friendship bread. There is peace of mind knowing I don't have to worry about batter spilling all over my kitchen counter.
