Product Reviews of Ziploc Bigbag Heavy Duty, 2 Feet x 1.7 Feet, XL 4 ea

Product Review: Satisfied
Summary: 5 Stars

This item is satisfactory for storing a comforter. A lot of the air can be forced out as it is closed.

Product Review: Hefty's Bags Are Better
Summary: 2 Stars

I started using the Space Saver Bags, but found that they ripped easily and let air in, so I tried the Ziploc Big Bags and liked them better. I happened across the Hefty bags and gave them a try and liked them better for two reasons:
1) The handles are better than the Ziploc bags, they don't tear or stretch as much.
2) You can fill it to capacity and still close the bag. When you fill the Ziploc bag up and close it, the second you try to lift it by the handle, it opens again. The Hefty bags' handles are in a better location to keep the bag from reopening. Plus the one-zip mechanism is much easier to use. Unfortunately, they are much harder to find.

Product Review: Fabulous
Summary: 5 Stars

I'll confess: I love Ziploc bags of all sizes, from snack bags to these hilariously huge storage bags. But even if you're not obsessed with storage bags, these XL Big Bags are hard not to love. We use them for storing clothes in our basement. They're also terrific for storing large, awkwardly shaped objects -- they're basically as big as a trash bag, but clear and much, much more durable.

Product Review: Great for brining
Summary: 4 Stars

I use these big bags for brining big turkeys. They work very well and are food safe. I recommend double bagging or using a secondary container (like a 5 gallon bucket) since I have had one bag leak.

Product Review: I like this size the best
Summary: 5 Stars

Having used all 3 sizes of the Ziploc Big Bags, this XL size has proven the most useful and flexible. I have not run into issues with sealing the bags that others have encountered. I actually prefer this type of seal to the sliding seal. I have used this particular size in the trunk of my car for storing blankets and extra jackets, in the basement for storing winter hats, gloves, scarves, and toys that I want to save for the grandchildren. Oh, and Beanie Babies collections! And school papers and artwork of the kids that I want to save. One very nice aspect is the handle at the top of the bag. I can use it to carry the bag or I can hang the bag on a hook on the wall or on a hanger in the closet.

I received these bags from BzzAgent and I can honestly say that I have just fallen in love with them. They are easy to find in many retailers and they are very durable. I have a much more expensive space bag that failed, so I put my winter comforter in one of these and was able to squeeze the air out pretty well. The space bag is just an ordinary bag now that it has lost its sealing power.
