Normally, I wouldn't review sandwich bags. I don't use plastic bags very often preferring Lock-n-locks for my food storage. But sometimes a bag just comes in handy.
If you properly close these, they are fairly water-tight and keep food in good shape. Because they are soft, they work really well for bringing your own freshly ground coffee with you on trips.
They are also my choice for quick ice packs, which is why I'm reviewing this right this moment. I dropped Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Vol. 1 on my foot. It's about a 3 lb cookbook and I've got a lovely bruise starting. The ice has nearly all melted, and there are no drips coming from the bag on my foot.
