This opener has made it possible for me (with arthritus in my hands) to easily remove most any lid. The only problem I had with it was the bottoms of my cabinets are very thin and the included wood screws just couldn't hold to them. I had to use a piece of quarter inch wood inside the cabinet and that did the job.
If you have no gripping power in your hands, this opener will be a great help.
