I have had to deal with fever blisters on my lips for years. I tried many different meds with little success. One summer while vacationing in Canada, I discovered Zilactin. I started using it and within a couple of days, my fever blisters were almost gone. I have been using Zilactin ever since. The first sign of a fever blister, I start applying Zilactin to the area and most times the blister never materializes and, if it does it is only a very minor problem. Zilatin burns a little when you first apply it but the results are wonderful. I will never purchase another cold sore/fever blister medication as long as I can find Zilactin. I usually buy several tubes at a time just so I don't get caught without it. If I can't find it in local drug stores, I can always depend on finding it here at Amazon. I have been using this product for over a year now, whenever a cold sore starts. It stops the pain immediately. It can stop a cold sore from breaking out if used at the first sign of a sore, but once you have the sore, it doesn't seem to shorten the duration, or make the sore less noticeable.Product Review: medication
