Zantac is a much better acid reducer than Tums. It works right away. My heartburn was completely done. I highly recommend it as an over-the-counter acid reducer. The only thing was that is did not last the full 12 hours for me, and I needed something stronger.But if you need something for quick acid relief, try this. For over-the-counter medicine, it is the best.
