Product Reviews of ZOIC Nutrition Drink, French Vanilla (Pack of 24)Product Review: Bad tasting! Summary: 1 Stars
I tried this product after reading these reviews. I have used Slim-Fast low carb drink in the past, Atkins drink, EAS. I am always looking for low-carb high protein products to maintain my weight. This was the very worst drink I have ever had. It tasted like chemicals going down, I couldn't even finish a can and had to return the rest.
Product Review: Barf in a can Summary: 1 Stars
I bought Zoic because of the extensive reviews, what a huge mistake! This stuff is poison!!!! possibly Rock Star the energy beverage would have been a much wiser choice. Zoic is truly the juice from hell, I became so sick that i swore nobody would go through this again. This stuff is SNAKE-OIL!!!!! Do not go near it, you WILL regret it. I had an open mind but no more!
BAD STUFF!!!!!
Product Review: Best I've Had Summary: 5 Stars
I have been looking for a good tasting, low sugar energy drink so I tried ZOIC. I love it, especially the chocolate. I use it for lunch and do not have those mid afternoon cravings tht make me munch on a chocolate bar while walking out of the gym. Since I am a teacher, I appreciate the fact that it does not upset my stomach either.
Product Review: Best Nutrition shake out there !! Summary: 5 Stars
Low fat, low carb and added fiber - what else could you ask for? Lots of nutrition, 21 grams of protien and vitiman B'sfor energy. I have Ulcerative Colitis and could not eat any solid food for 2 weeks. Usualy I get very weak during this time on broth and jello. I used these shakes and felt a huge difference in my energy levels. They taste great over ice, I actually have to slow myself down when drinking them. I like both Vanilla and Chocolate equally.
Product Review: Changed ZOIC Product Formulation Summary: 3 Stars
I discovered ZOIC a year ago. Months thereafter, I started having ZOIC automatically shipped each month by Amazon (cheaper than reg. retail w. Amazon's free shipping plan). WITH THIS MONTH'S SHIPMENT (December 2009) THE PRODUCT HAS RADICALLY CHANGED: No longer does the can boast a red square with the phrase, ¨21 GRAMS PROTEIN.¨ Also dropped is ¨2 NET CARBS.¨ Zoic did seem an excellent liquid ¨snack meal¨ UNTIL THESE CHANGES. Other changes: Total calories down from 110 to 90, while fat goes from 10 to 5 per can. Cholesterol doubles to 10mg. Sodium is down by ~30% while potassium and ¨Dietary Fiber¨ have ~doubled. PROTEIN IS NOW ONLY 15 GRAMS!! The balance of vitamins and minerals is also greatly changed. In my book, with these changes (unannounced by Amazon), ZOIC is no longer a nutritional bargain and ¨best of breed.¨ I now prefer EAS ¨Myoplex Lite.¨ My criteria are multiple (i.e., non-inclusively: safest lipid profile with very low cholesterol and no trans or saturated fats, avoidance of hypervitaminosis or mineral toxicity at an intake of 2-3 drinks/day, quality and amount of protein per $, palatability). Your criteria may differ but so has this product. Take heed.
