Product Review: Yardley Soap
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Yardley soap! I was delighted to find it online because not many stores carry it.

Product Review: Yardley by the yard
Summary: 5 Stars

This is beautiful soap. Its aroma is delicious, making it a pleasure to walk by the closet where it is stored. However, I ordered 10, thinking I would receive 10 bars. I was shocked to discover that I had received 10 packets of four-- 40 bars of soap. That explained its apparently high price. Amazon should make this clear but it has been a pleasure giving the surplus to friends.

Product Review: Yardley's is great
Summary: 5 Stars

This soap is great! It's long lasting and wonderfully aromatic. For those worried about price, I buy it at my local Dollar Tree stores for $1 a bar. However, even at Amazon's price it is a wonderful value.

Product Review: love it but.........
Summary: 5 Stars

i have always loved this soap however, the shipping costs where almost double the price of the soap i'll have to shop elsewhere

Product Review: sorta disappointed:/
Summary: 3 Stars

well, Yardley is a great company.

first of all let me say they make THE BEST Oatmeal and Almond bar of soap that is out there in the market. It even has little bits and pieces of real 100% natural oats in the bar.
it's silky smooth, creamy, moisturizing, clean, refreshing, and smells great of oatmeal+almond. and that great scent stays on you for the rest of the day, which is an added bonus!

their almond milk is almost as good too!

but this is....just...."meh."

first, i don't think this lavender Yardley even has any lavender in it. There is no mention of either lavender, or its scientific name-LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA-in the ingredients.
second, the bar of soap isn't even blue-violet in color, it is biege/cream colored.
not a good sign.

it does smell of lavender, but it is most probably just its "fragrance."
which may or may not be artificial.

while trying to get lavender soap, i realized that 90% of soap out there on the market by different manufacturers don't have real+actual lavender in them, i concluded that the most likely reason is that real lavender is rare and expensive.
but i am only assuming this, don't take my reason why as Fact.
i really don't know why actual lavender from the lavender plant is so hard to come by in soaps.

to summarize
Yardley almond milk A+
Yardley oatmeal and almond A+++
Yardley lavender C+

if you want the smell of lavender in your soap, this one is just fine.
if you want or need the antiseptic powers of the actual lavender flower/plant, get another soap.

p.s.
it may have real lavender particles in it, but if it does, it most likely has few of them.
