These aren't mints, but they're really tasty candy. I highly recommend this flavor. The lemon ones are ok (they taste a bit like lemon zest) but have a weird gelatinous texture when you first pop them in your mouth. These raspberry ones don't have that problem, and are definitely my favorite.
These candies were recommended to me by my dental hygenist (the best one I've ever met!). Xylitol and xylitol-based products like those made by Spry are difficult to find locally (most popular-brand "xylitol" gum actually has very little xylitol in it), so I was quite happy to see these here. From what I've seen online, the only known side-effect to xylitol is a laxative effect (as compared to artificial sweeteners, which can be carcinogenic in large regular doses). I've eaten a ton of these and haven't had any problems, though, so the dosage at which the laxative effect occurs must be quite high.

My dentist told me to get these mints to stop tooth decay. They taste great and I would have no problem EXCEPT that they are made in China. I didn't know that when I ordered them. After reading about the poisonous toothpaste, lead based toys and deadly dog food, I do not trust pharmaceuticals or other edibles compounded in China.Product Review: Yum!

Well, I'm not sure yet about the advantages of xylitol for your teeth, since I just got my mints today, but I can tell you that it sure tastes great! These are the berry flavored mints, so they're not really mints at all, but wonderful little candies. They are terribly yummy and their texture is superb! I definitely recommend these! If they really do help with my cavities, I will call them a miracle!
Update: I used to have cavities every time I visited the dentist, every six months or so. But thanks to Xylitol, I haven't had a cavity in 2 years. IT'S A MIRACLE!!!
