Product Review: Totally Worth It

I am about ready to have a third surgery on my feet in 15 month. I bought this product after I was in cast after my ankle surgery. It is so much better than the plastic bag/rubber band/tape method. It has never leaked and provides a snug fit. It is non-slip so that is great when you are taking a shower and trying not to fall.
The opening when you first use the product is tight but it stretches out pretty quick, but not so much that it is loose. Because of this, I don't recommend this product for a post-surgical splint. There is no way it would be able to slide over the bulkiness of the splint.
When using it your leg tends to get very sweaty and when you take it off your leg may feel moist. However this is from the sweat and not because the product leaks. It also is not enough moisture that you have to worry about a return trip to your doctor for a new cast.
It has been a great investment and I would not hesitate to recommend to to anyone.

We bought the xerosox cast cover shortly after my wife broke and dislocated her ankle in a car accident. Putting it on the first time was a bit of a struggle as the opening was pretty tight, but after that it went on pretty easy.
The seal worked great for the shower and we even took it to the pool several times where it performed beautifully. It didn't leak a drop of water anytime she had it on. It definitely made having the cast much more bearable.
