These are by far the best ear plugs I've ever used bar none. They're so much more comfortable than foam plugs, and they block out more noise than any other ear plugs or noise reduction product I've used (including a super expensive pair of noise cancelling headphones). They're apparently the highest rated of any hearing protection product on the market with a noise reduction rating of 34, and I totally believe it. My $1.95 sample pack also lasted me two months before I decided I ought to get another pair, which was a welcome surprise.
To anyone who said they had trouble inserting them-- just read the directions that come with them. It's a completely different method of insertion, so if you try to push them into your ears like other ear plugs they won't work for you. If you actually take the time to insert them the way they tell you to they'll block out noise like magic.
