Product Reviews of Wet-Stop3 Bedwetting Alarm System With VibrationProduct Review: Beyond Expectations!! Summary: 5 StarsI bought the Wet-Stop 3 Bedwetting Alarm for my daughter who is a very sound sleeper. I was skeptical even after reading all the positive reviews before making my purchase, but decided to give it a try at such a low cost. Prior to using the alarm, I would wake my daughter to go to the bathroom during the night and restricted her fluid intake after 6 pm , but she still would not stay dry 6 out of 7 nights. I wasn't sure she would awaken by the alarm, because she is such a heavy sleeper. To my surprise, she woke up from the very first time the alarm sounded. She needed my help for the first few nights, but within 10 days time from the first use, she stayed dry thru the night and hasn't had an accident in 14 nights!!! Now she wakes on her own to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, regardless of her fluid intake up until bedtime! Most importantly, she is so proud of herself and we're both getting better nights sleep not having to change clothes and sheets in the middle of the night! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has trouble with bedwetting!
Product Review: Buy This Summary: 5 StarsI had tried the Potty Pager with my first son. It did not fix the problem and then broke! He eventually out grew the problem. I did not want to spend the money to buy another paging system. I hoped my son would also out grow the problem. We tried pills - they didn't work. Finally I broke down and bought this. It is so sensitive that your hand must not have a drop of water on them or the alarm will go off while you are hooking it up. It woke my son up with a wet spot the size of a quarter. He was dry within a week. I wish I had bought it sooner.
Product Review: Never thought it would work, but it did! Summary: 5 StarsMy six year old very much wanted to be able to go to bed in underwear but he would wet through the Overnight frequently, and wet it almost every night. We tried this alarm and it worked wonders, but it also took about five weeks. I don't recommend it for a child much younger than six because it is a pain to wear and use. It takes real commitment. The first two weeks the alarm was going off 1-3 times a night. Many times he would fully wet himself before waking. He wore underwear under the Overnights so that clean up wouldn't be too bad (highly recommend!). Week 3 he was still having the alarm go off almost every night but he would only pee a drop and then go the rest in the toilet. This was happening from weeks 3-4. At this point he was just in underwear since it was only a drop. Then one night it didn't go off. I made him wait seven nights in a row without it going off and then we stopped using it (week 5). He has been dry now for two weeks without any accidents. He can even take a sippy cup to bed and not have an accident. His body has learned. If you do use it, hang in there. We had plenty of days where we didn't think we were making any progress. My son also was getting tired of getting up all the time but we made a deal that we would give it two months to work before throwing in the towel. Luckily it didn't take that long, but it did take five weeks. The alarm is very sensitive and sometimes would go off when my son was putting it on because his hands would be sweaty. The alarm is large but the price was better for something we wouldn't be using very long. I thought it was well made and we didn't have any malfunction issues. My son did sleep through the alarm a few times but I think would happen with the more expensive models too. I highly recommend this!
Product Review: aids in stopping bedwetting Summary: 5 Starsfor a deep sleeper like my 9 yr. old son, the vibration mode along with the alarm was essential. We have had the alarm now for a month and he has been dry for almost 2 wks straight! The system is small so he tolerates it well. I have used other systems and failed long term. Others have batteries that are uncommon and hard to find, also the alarm alone awoke every one in the house EXCEPT the bedwetter. This system like I said is small and easy to use, price was right and batteries are common. Buy this system if you have a bedwetter
Product Review: you get what you pay for Summary: 1 StarsThis is a great case of you get what you pay for. I purchased this alarm for our 6 year old because it was a good price and didn't seem to be any worse than the more expensive alarms. I was wrong. First, you can't hear this alarm and we even put the baby monitor in her room and ours and it still wouldn't wake us up. Then when it did wake her up she would do the 2 step process to turn it off and the wire broke at the alarm end with the phone jack connector. The tab broke off. So You have to order a whole new replacement cord for around $15 plus shipping. We did that and that one broke too so we gave up on this and bought the more expensive Malem and it was about 3 weeks into that and she was dry consistently. So the alarm method works but spring for the more expensive alarms and leave the Wet Stop ALONE!!
