Product Review: Don't waste your money!

I bought this from National Incontinence. They don't stand behind it! They say take it to the Manufacturer. I called them, and let them hear the alarm over the phone and they told me to return the unit for replacement. They sent me a unit that was just as quiet. It wasn't loud enough to wake my son. It wasn't loud enough to wake me in the same room.
It isn't good for anything. It is a total waste of money.

Bedwetting alarms are not popular in europe and moreover in Italy, despite scentific litterature which rates them as the most effective remedy.
So I had to search a while. However I quickly came to the conclusion that Wet-Stop3 should be the best product on the market. It's sold in italy by just one shop but is quite expensive. When I found it at Amazon, I decided to try my first "overseas" shopping. Everything went very fine:
1) Product arrived in less than two weeks
2) Product is robust, Alarm is loud (you cannot miss it), it is easy to use, comes with a cd containing and interesting book
3) after a week we already have good results
4) I contacted MD potty through amazon and they immediately reply

This product was exactly what my son (age 6 1/2) needed to make the transition to being over-night trained!

The product was super easy to use. Just clip the alarm to their shirt and clip the sensor to their underwear or to the inside of their pull-up. You can set it to either set off an alarm, a vibration or both. The vibration was loud enough to wake my son up. I chose to put it on the inside of his pull-up so we wouldn't have to change sheets every night. When the alarm would go off, my son would wake up and finish going potty in the toilet. He wasn't super thrilled about wearing it but he was excited to see if he would get a silver star or gold star the next morning (the reward chart comes with it). The silver star means that the alarm went off but they were able to stop going and finish in the potty. The gold star means that they were dry the whole night.

I thought that this process would take much longer, but it only took us 8 days to be fully trained!!! He went from going 2-3 times a night (and sleeping through it before we used the alarm) to being completely dry in 8 nights! After he had his first dry night (on the 8th day) I told him that he would have to have 5 dry nights in a row before he could stop wearing it and wear underwear. Sure enough, he did it and we've been dry ever since! It's amazing that this one simple thing could make such a big difference. We tried several times before to train him with absolutely no success. With this system, he made improvements almost every night until he was completely dry.

I know that not everyone got success this quickly so I do think that some of it has to do with his age and he must have been physically ready to make this step. However he could not do it on his own at this point so I 100% credit this product with helping to get him over this hump. I'm so excited that we are completely done with pull-ups, especially when he has sleepovers!

I would definitely recommend this product for someone in a similar situation to us. Imagine how much money you will actually SAVE by not having to buy pull-ups anymore!!

This product was wonderful. We used the star system that came with it and rewarded our son for so many stars in a row. My only two complaint were that he sweated several of the nights causing the alarm to go off and magnet clip didnt stay on so well. It took less than two weeks to have him fully trained to get up to use the toilet. No more pull-ups. You must use this product with underwear and I would recommend it
