Product Reviews of Weil Daily Multivitamin for Optimum Health, Tablets,180 tablets (Pack of 2)Product Review: Large pills; made me sick to my stomach Summary: 2 Stars
I had read the previous reviews before purchasing the vitamins so I was prepared for the large size of the pills. They also have the awful natural vitamin smell. Because they contained such a great combination for a multi vitamin, I was going to overlook those two deficiences.
However, these vitamins made me throw up or get extremely nauseous three different times so I have now given up on the pills.
Product Review: Love the Product, the Price, but the Shipping Cost ... ??? Summary: 3 Stars
UPDATE: check for different sellers here on Amazon. I was able to find a seller (think it was Amazon) that didn't charge for shipping. While the vitamins were slightly higher, the overall price was lower.

I've been using Dr Weil's multivitamin for some time. I've bought them here through Amazon and locally at the health stores. I trust the brand and Dr Weil's efforts to promote personal health. See the other reviews for the technical details.
My concern is that I now have to pay for shipping. What happened? I just placed an order for other Weil vitamins and shipping was free. My last order of this multivitamin also had free shipping. (Thank you, Amazon, for keeping this history).
Now, why is shipping nearly $7 for this bottle? Yes, I agree with other reviewers the pills are hard to swallow. But this shipping cost is even harder to swallow especially since other Weil products have free shipping.
I may yet purchase because locally these same vitamins are twice as much. 180 count is nearly $50 locally.
The value of any product is not just the product itself but also the cost to obtain it.
Product Review: Makes me sick Summary: 2 Stars
This pill is large enough to choke a pony, difficult to swallow, and hard to digest. I am sure the vitamin blend is balanced properly, but if I have had anything less than a three-course meal, I end up feeling nauseated within minutes of taking it. It does say on the bottle that it's best to take with food, but it doesn't say how much food. If I try to take it with a piece of toast and a cup of coffee, that's not enough of a cushion to keep me from puking it all up. Dr. Weil's books are fantastic, and I enjoy some of his other products, but I actually dread taking this vitamin. I will try to finish the bottle but next time I will buy a different multivitamin.
Product Review: No Problems Summary: 4 Stars
No problems with product, ordering process, or shipping. Used the free shipping and received my order fast, in about half the alloted time.
Product Review: Some Concerns Summary: 3 Stars
While I don't think this multivitamin is bad overall, I do have some concerens.
First, the vitamin is extremely hard to swallow. I nearly choked a couple of times trying to get it down. Another reader claims that shouldn't be a criticism. Well, I disagree.
Second, [...], an independent company that tests nutrional supplements found problems with the ingredients, namely that the vitamins contain only 73% of the vitamin A that is on the label, and, due to a binding agent used, there is actually 251% of its claimed 60 mg of calcium. Whether these problems have been corrected, I do not know.
Nonetheless, I think these vitamins are decent overall, although I have ethical issues with how Dr. Weil shamelessly promotes his own products on his Web site, especially with his "vitamin advisor," which recommends the same amount of stuff to take regardless of your input.
Update: Based on the recent tests by Consumerlab.com, it appears that the issues I mentioned above have been resolved.
