I had this scale before for several years and finally the battery just devolved. This is a fine scale, but it must be on a flat hard surface so it doesn't move around. It will give you absolutely accurate weight if you stand on it for a bit of time, and let it balance itself. The absolutely final weight is the right one. If you do this when you wake up, go back about 10 minutes later and weigh again, it might show some weight loss (because you've been moving around). I have no idea what i weigh because the thing changes eveytime you move it. This is very discouraging when you work out 6 days a week. One day i would get on and be thrilled and the next i would want to slit my wrists. Finally after week 3...duh me.. i moved it around and all 4 times i weighed something different. Just like most of the other digital scales I've used, this one will change it's measurement based on where it is in your house. The best bet is to keep it in one place and measure your weight there. Don't mess with what room it's in. Just keep it in the bathroom or somewhere without a carpet and it should be fine.
It's easy to read, and to the extent you keep it in one place, pretty consistent. I don't like the handle though, because you can't push it against a wall or anything because its in the way.
Otherwise, pretty average. Most WW scales are pretty good.

This is the second time I bought this scale. The first one only worked for 2 days. Thought it was a defect so I exchanged it for another. What a mistake. I have had the 2nd one for 1 1/2 months. It is not accurate. The scales went up 7 lbs one day, hours later down 4,up 2lbs the next time. I can step on it 10 times in a row and never have the same number twice. It will move between 1 to 5 pounds. When you are watching your weight you want to know for sure, if your weight is up or down, not spend 15 minutes every morning trying to get an average number. I am very dissappointed that weight watchers even put their name on it. There are way to many scales with better feedback, Please dont waste your money on this one !!!Product Review: Just doesn't last
