I found this to be a decent little pill organizer, of a nice compact size, but with 4 compartments each day, which is what I needed. I was looking for a different colored one for my Dad's PRN (as needed) pills to put in his medichest in his Assisted Living room. They're clearly labeled, and I found the quality to be on par with other mediset/medichest items I've purchased. Each day's worth of 4 compartments comes out of the holder to bring with you if you need. For an inexpensive plastic item, I found the construction and quality to easily meet or slightly exceed my expectations.
However, Sunday opens BACKWARDS! I've been using and filling different medichest organizers like this for quite some time, and this one confounds me each time I go to fill it! Monday-Saturday compartments open from the Left - there is a small edge extending out to give you a grip to flip it open. But Sunday has the edges on the Right, so the compartments open right-to-left. Its really weird, and the only pill organizer medichest I've come across which is like this - perhaps all the others I have are the same manufacturer who does things differently. But I've got filling these things down to a science.... pop, pop, pop, etc to open them all up, go through each med, into the correct day/time, and snap, snap, snap to close them all. Every time I fill this one, the Backwards Sunday throws me for a loop! And if you're expecting it to open on the Left, this can really confuse the person who is trying to administer or get the pill OUT. The tabs of Sunday and Monday face each other, so you have to pry the day up, out of the outer case, in order to get a grasp on the edge to get the compartment open. Thank goodness my elderly Dad isn't doing this himself - he would quickly get frustrated. I used a silver marker to highlight each tab edge, to help the Aides figure it out, as well as remind me when I'm filling it.
Quality and Manufacture are fine, especially for the price point, but the design is NOT ideal. If Sunday was consistent with the other days, I would have given this a 4, but if I come across another small, solid colored medichest of the same size, I will probably get it to replace this one.
