Product Reviews of Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360WProduct Review: 3 1/2* Ask Your Dentist Summary: 4 Stars
Update: After using this for several months, I have been disappointed at how often I need to recharge it. Perhaps with time, it doesn't hold its charge as well, but lately it loses substantial power after using it for 5 or so times.
Didn't know your mouth may need "irrigating?" Well, this portable device may be a useful supplement to your usual dental practices. The product's pulsating jets of water stimulate the gums and clean hard-to-reach places between and around the teeth. The architecture of your mouth, and a discussion with your dentist and/or hygienist will help you determine if you might benefit from this product.
The pros are the portability and compact size, no longer is water Pik dependent on a tank of water. Of course, this also means that one generally needs too fill the attached reservoir twice, once for the lower, and once for the upper teeth (or right side and left side if you're so inclined). Filling takes just a few seconds, but, depending on the depth of your sink, you may have to angle it a bit. The product works well, and your mouth feels fresh after using it. You may need a bit of practice emptying your mouth as the nozzle fills it with water, but this was an easy adjustment. There are two sets of nozzles in each so that your partner has one too. One nozzle delivers more power than the other; the "beginner" nozzle is at such a low pressure that you may only need it if you are starting out with very sensitive gums. It appears to retain its power for at least a week. I'm glad this is available, but you should really speak with a dentist to see if this product is right for you.
Product Review: 360 Degree Rotation for Suffocation Summary: 4 Stars
I cannot believe the poor design of the turning (360 degrees) head. Can you imagine the walls of the bathroom after you finished using it?
OK, now please....fix the poor design before someone comes up with a law suit against the manufacturer for water suffocation.
The poor design includes the three buttons (can the release one be moved somewhere else?). While trying to hold the head from turning, the ON and OFF buttons have to be under your finger before the water suffocation, then the head comes OUT.
Well, I have ducted tape the head, so I can have one finger on the ON and another on the OFF buttons again before suffocation.
Yes, you read it right, "DUCT Tape." Lucky I that I had some white DUCT Tape in the house.
I have no problem with the water tank size like others do.
The health and hygiene of my gums are very important to me, and the waterpik does the job.
The portable waterpik design could be better if the manufacturer wanted to.

Product Review: 3rd time was NOT a charm Summary: 1 Stars
Same complaints as everyone else. The battery dies too early, and the position for the adapter gets wet, which leads to corrosion. I bought THREE of these, thinking the problem must have been with my electrical outlet. I really wanted this product to last - as I loved the smaller size (no counter space!). I will not buy another one. Lesson FINALLY learned.
Product Review: A bad investment Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this unit a little over a year ago because I wanted a quick way to dislodge items prior to flossing and brushing.
The WP-360E2 that I have (bought in Europe) has a water reservoir that is too small. Luckily I could do with one filling but not spending 5 seconds on every tooth. At the beginning I had to watch out not to get that pulsating jet into my eye (would cause eye damage).
This device is fantastic for us brace wearers, specially if you have a power chain installed on your braces so for it it was a Godsent while it lasted.
A couple of days ago I went to use it after a couple of days and it quickly discharged half way. I found that strange and put it to charge. Let it 8 hours and when I went to turn it on it did nothing. I put it to charge another 12 because unfortunately this unit also lacks a charge indicator (red/green) how can something so basic be missing from an expensive device?
Well, after two consecutive charges I got the same result. The diagnostic is final, this unit, still relatively new and with not that many charge cycles on it, has become an expensive paper weight!
Worst of all, your investment in this unit is bad (BAD!) because as it turns out the battery compartment is sealed and the battery cannot be replaced. Something to look for when I buy another from another brand, no more Waterpik products for me.
So in summary, while it works it serves its purpose with the pulsating water jet. Unfortunately it has a poor electrical design and very limited life span. Don't buy it.
Product Review: A disappointment Summary: 1 Stars
While it worked, which wasn't for very long it did a good job of removing most, though not all debrie. I would floss after using the water-flosser and would still find a very small amount of food particles. However it did impart a feeling of 'clean' and I liked using it.
THE REALLY BAD: It stopped recharging in less than a year. The company replaced it with another which also stopped recharging in less than a year! The overall design is not as functional as it should be. It is difficult to take apart for cleaning or to change the tip.
Bottom line: I miss using it but expensive, considering its short lived life.
