Product Reviews of Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless PLUSProduct Review: Does very well in flossing Summary: 4 Stars
I never could floss the "regular" way. This seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do. have only had it a few weeks. I am hoping we don't run into durability problems others have reported. Will report back in a few months. When first started using it- I was inefficient and it took 3 refills. Now, I easily do the job w. one refill for the bottom teeth and one refill for the top. I floss both from the inside out and the outside in. The instructions seems to say you only need to do outside/in - but it seems to be more thorough doing both. Use warm water for comfort. Easy to refill and plug in.
I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because, while not sure, maybe it could have been designed w. a bigger tank w.o. it being cumbersome. On/off switch seems slightly awkward to use while the pick is in your mouth. However, as a flosser, it is 5 stars.
Product Review: Does what it needs to Summary: 3 Stars
I picked this up because I have limited bathroom counter space for yet another object. It's a little unwieldly to hold, but you get used to it quickly. The stream lasts for about 45 seconds, which I think is about 15 seconds too short; but it gets the job done. You can always refill it if you think you need more time. It's good to travel with, if you really feel you can't miss a few days, but if you have limited luggage real estate, leave it home.
The water canister detaches, although I am not sure why. It is easy to fill and, if you leave the stopper open, it dries out quickly. Using it once a day, it takes about 3 weeks before it needs a recharge (assuming only one person uses it). Since it uses NiCad batteries, it's best to drain the batteries before recharging.
Product Review: Don't Bother Summary: 1 Stars
We bought this Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless PLUS to take on vacations. We are on vacation with our new Waterpik and want our money back. We can swish warm water in our mouths with much more force than this Waterpik can muster. Waste of money and travel bulk. Don't bother. (My husband wants me to add it is a piece of expletive.)
Product Review: Don't Buy This Item Summary: 1 Stars
I brought this item only a couple of weeks ago and have only used it a few times (maybe 10 times) and it has already started to malfunction. At first I thought it needed to be recharged but after charging it overnight I had the same problem. Now it operates fine for ONLY 3 seconds then quickly loses all its power. And this unfortunately happened when the return deadline expired so now I'm stuck with a non-working waterpik. I will never buy this brand again.
Product Review: Don't listen to the haters, this is a good product Summary: 5 Stars
I read all the reviews about the bits turning, the unit too loud, water tank to small, blah, blah, blah.
I have 3 WaterPik Flossers now and we use all 3 of them. I ordered one for Iraq because I missed mine at home!
The unit is a little bukly but is not heavy. The water chamber takes up most of the side on it. If the water tank was larger, it would make it even less handy, so the water tank is fine. If you need to refill it, flip the cap open and put in more hot water. I only refill when I am doing extra cleaning in the backs sometimes depending on what I ate.
The unit is no louder than the standard bathroom models.
Tips will move if you do not guide them properly. My tips will not turn while waster is spewing out as long as my tooth or tongue doesn't hit it.
But hey, ayy you nay sayers, just go buy that $189.00 job from that other company. I'll save the $140.00 and still have clean teeth.
