Product Reviews of Waterpik WP-70/WP-70W Family Dental Water Jet

Product Review: Good Product - Good Price
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the fourth unit I've bought. They do last only a few years, but it's well worth the 3 cents a day to use. Actually less expensive than my tooth brush. I did purchase another brand for a few dollars less, once. I found how important the quality of the Waterpik was. It has a selection of pressures, and good size reservoir and the tip conveniently rotates. The latest one I have is a lot quieter than earlier ones. I have had to repair a leaky line. It was simple enough to do and offered an opportunity to give the unit a good cleaning. Although I do not care to participate in a Throw Away World, I find it still feasible just to replace the unit after a couple years use. I do use the old units in my shop. It also makes a great gift for my Grand kids.

Product Review: Good overall
Summary: 4 Stars

Overall, good performing water-floss system. A bit shaky and noisy, though and occaisionally "balks" at startup.

Product Review: Good product!
Summary: 4 Stars

We have had several WaterPiks over the years. Although they haven't really varied all that much across the models, this one seems to be a little nicer overall.

Product Review: Good unit
Summary: 4 Stars

The WaterPik works well, although selecting a comfortable strength for the water jet can be a little difficult. This is my second one. The first having sprung a leak where the hose joins the handle after two years.

Product Review: Good while it's working
Summary: 2 Stars

I've had two waterpiks over the years. I liked them both, when they worked, as they had plenty of pressure. Both died in about two years though, one with a hose leak, and my latest one, which died today, leaking in the attachment handle. I need the machine, so I'm torn about what to do. I bought another brand (Teledyne) about 4 years ago, and was not really happy with the lower cleaning pressure it produced, so when it croaked, I bought the second Waterpik, which cleaned well, but doesn't last either.
I sure wish I could get more than 2 years out of these units. I only use them once or twice a week, so that's a pretty short working life span, I'd say.
