Product Review: An improvement though smaller capacity

I have used this for about a month now. Owned three of the full size versions prior. While they worked when they worked, lifespan was short (2yrs). One of the three was a warranty replacement.
This newer version appears much more robust. It is quieter and the connection to the base and various tips appears to be more substantial and possibly less prone to breakage. It also occupies a much smaller footprint on the vanity top and the lid storage for tips is a big improvement. So thus far it is a great unit.
That said, the reservoir is much smaller than the previous version (20oz vs 35oz) and so I have to refill it each time I use it. I kept the previous unit's reservoir and use that to refill.
Dental irrigators are high pressure units and the longevity of consumer (e.g. cheap) versions is likely to be short (although this has a 3-yr warranty). But these things are great for your teeth and I will keep buying.
Bonus--it looks like an Imperial Storm Trooper!

This review is for the Waterpik Ultra ... I don't think many of these reviewers have the same item!
It doesn't leak, it doesn't spray all over, it doesn't have too low or too high pressure. How can it? It has adjustable pressure. And a button that turns off the water flow when you have it out of your mouth so you don't spray the bathroom walls. If the reservoir is pushed properly in place, it won't leak (if it's not in place, it certainly won't pump any water, either). If, for some strange reason, you don't put the nozzle back upright in it's holder, the water will certainly start to drain out. Then again, why would you keep water in it when not using it - it will start getting floaties and growing funny things! The reservoir also holds enough water for 2 of us to use it.
Simply follow the directions with the Ultra, & I don't think you will be disappointed.

Having used a Waterpik for years, i was amazed at the variety of "heads" included with this model, including my favorite -- a toothbrush! The deep cleaning head really stimulates the gums. The newer design includes a shut off in the handle so changing heads may be accomplished while leaning over the sink.Product Review: Awesome

I hated flossing before, I tried all different types of floss and hated em all but I dont mind using this machine at all. .the water pic was very easy to use and I am very satisfied with the results from it. Although it's a little messy and takes some getting use to but still works great and is worth a little water spill!Product Review: Awesome Product !

I've always taken good care of my teeth but for the past 5 years or so i havent had any dental insurance so I just take extra care on my own. Ive had this puss coming out of one particular place on my bottom tooth for a long time. Ive been so concerned and always brush religiously every day but its just not enough. I started researching and discovered I had a "pocket". Ok... then i was even more afraid of losing my teeth. I continued to research and discovered This Water Pik. I was amazed at the feedback and reviews of this product from people just like me who could not afford a dentist and this product actually saved their teeth ! Well, Im happy to report its doing the same for me and im so happy and relieved. I put a mixture of peroxide, Listerine and water in the basin and then I use the Pik pocket tip to flush out the pocket in my gums and wow... I dont even get puss out of my gums anymore and its healing so fast. My breath is fresher than ever and my gums are so pink and healthy. I recommend this product to anyone that wants healthy teeth that will last them the rest of their life. I know people that have had painful surgery to correct their "pocket" problem and its just amazing to me that if they had known about this product, all the money, time and pain they would have saved themselves just by buying it ! Its absolutely incredible.... dont hesitate! Buy it and use it everyday of your life. You will not be disapointed.
