Product Review: Useful but not better than regular floss

I thought I would try this battery operated flosser. Though it works just fine, unless you're a real gadget geek, regular dental floss is just as effective, and less fidgety (you have to store the floss tips and change them out every use), and a better value. The floss tips themselves aren't well packaged....I spilled several of them trying to get them out of the little plastic bag they are packaged in.Product Review: WOW This is an awesome dental tool

Love this WaterPik FLW-110 Power Whitening Flosser and like the WaterPik WP-72 Professional Dental Water Jet I bought at the same time, I only wish I had invested in these preventative health tools sooner.
The tool is easy to use, even for children, and the 'tips' that you use for flossing, have a whitening agent that makes getting between teeth, more efficient and white as well. The tool is quiet and I love the extra floss tips that come with the item and that the item is light weight so you can floss as you walk around the house, on the treadmill, or while soaking in the bath or taking a shower.
For those like myself who disliked how dental floss can snag, this tool makes flossing easy and something you will actually want to do as part of your overall dental home care. Something my physician and dentist have told me so often, can help overall health care.
And what a small investment in something that has such big pay offs. Not only in co-pay dental visits, but when my teeth and gums are healthy, my whole body is healthier.
This is an item I will be buying for family members as a gift, thats how much I love it!

I have a permanent retainer on my lower front teeth, and have had trouble flossin between it and my gums. This "tool" is ideal for these teeth, and is very easy to use on my whole mouth. I really like it!Product Review: What about the batteries?

I have braces and thought this product might be easier than using a "threader" to floss. I think the whitening thing is a bit of a gimmick, but it does a reasonable job of flossing. However, when I tried to open the unit to change the batteries, the head broke off and I can't get it to snap back on--nor can I find the battery compartment. I looked online, and I simply couldn't make any sense of the instructions. Seems like a pretty big design flaw to me.Product Review: Whoopie!

I really like this thing! It cleans between your teeth at the gum line. It doesn't slide between your teeth like floss; it pokes in through the side and wiggles around like a drain snake.
It is a gentle but invigorating experience. Change tip every time.
