Product Reviews of WalkFit Orthotic Insoles - Size CProduct Review: Ow Summary: 2 StarsOw. Owowowowow. Do Not Mistake These for actual orthotics made for your unique feet. In fact, these I found to be painful and counter-productive. I bought these as a stop-gap to actual orthotics to straighten out my knees and the Walk Fits radically affected my gait, stride and shape on my foot. The podiatrist I finally got to see scolded me for making my orthotics a much more expensive proposition by first wearing a non-specific insole that did not address my feet, but rather was a commercial One Size Fits All.
I'd be very very careful about putting these in your shoes.
Product Review: Poor fit Summary: 1 StarsI wear a size 8.5B with a medium low arch and have purchased professionally made orthotics for 20 years for arch support. These walkfit insoles are terribly uncomfortable. The interchangeable arch (low, med, high) are too far forward. I can't imagine anyone having an arch close to the ball of the foot. Forget trying to get your money back from the manufacture for it is too much of a hassle.
Product Review: These changed my life!!! Summary: 5 StarsI "had" planter fasciaitis so bad I couldn't even walk in the morning when I got out of bed. My feet would get tired and sore all the time. After purchasing these my life changed! YOU MUST follow the directions on how to use them at first.....GET THROUGH the break in time....it is sooooo worth it. I haven't had any foot pain in well over a year! I now have 5 pairs of walk fits for all of my shoes and boots.....I couldn't live without them. The nice thing is that every pair of shoes you put on will feel the same because of the walk fits. Try them......you will NOT be sorry!
Product Review: Good they finally added the Shoe Size that C covers. Summary: 4 StarsI ordered these when they didn't have the shoe size for C listed. However I knew C did cover the size I needed. And ordered. The price was the best I could find at the time. Postage maybe stiff however. I have an old broken foot injury 40 years old that is giving me lots of pain and problems. It seems like the arch has collapsed on that foot alone. So I began with the lower inserts and now using the medium. My other foot could use the highest one for arch support. I used to be equal on both feet right up until last June when problems began. And my arches have always been high arches so it's no wonder the higher level fits my one foot better than the injured foot. Not sure it's an aging thing or more to it. Right now I've got these inserted into a pair of Spira hiking boots. Several Spira shoes seem to give my foot more support it needs now that this problem has developed. Before that I wore MBT's 5 different pairs over 4 years almost exclusively. I've had bouts of problems with this old injury in the past too..nothing quite like this however. Very worrysome. So I invested in a variety of shoes that are arch supporters and hold your foot from twisting too. And still needed a stronger insert and arch support. I thought something was wrong with my shoes originally and even asked my husband if he could feel it too & if he thought a cobbler could work it down. And I realized finally...it wasn't the shoes that changed....not talking about the MBT's here I'd already had to quit using them...but turns out it's the foot? If I take care and give it some support I am hoping it will heal. I want to avoid the doctors...there are so many in this particular field that are closer to quacks then know what the real business of orthopedics....so decided to invest in several pairs of top of the line shoes and supports first. So far the whole thing is about 1 trip to the doctors office with Xrays. These inserts do help..but not the full answer either. I would have liked them in a full length shoe insert instead they are 3/4 size. The Spira's I have use two springs in the toe area with two exposed holes over them when you remove the shoes' original footbed insert...so these 3/4 sized replacements doesn't cover the holes....So that is why only 4 stars. I prefer full footbed inserts not the halves and 3/4's. The original listing here didn't tell you that like they didn't bother to originally tell you the size range C stood for either....I let the seller know and maybe others too because it's now part of it's description. I'm still shopping for full length inserts or I would have gotten 2-3 pairs of these.
Product Review: My feet feel great Summary: 5 StarsThis is a great product. Be sure to break them in by wearing
them for only an hour or two for the first 3 to 5 days. If you don't they will be uncomfortable and you will get frustrated. Breaking them in softens them up and flattens them out so they will fit right.
