I researched all the available products so I could cut my own hair. A lot of them expecteded you to buzz off all your hair. I wasn't looking for that. When I used this product, I made (1) little mistake above my right ear. Not a real big deal. Doing the back can be tricky with the mirror. A little practice and learning from your mistakes (hair does grow back so you can try again). I even got some compliments from my often critical friends at work. Bottom line is, you want to "do it yourself" this model will do the job.
