Product Reviews of Wahl 9918-6171 Groomsman Beard and Mustache TrimmerProduct Review: Good Trimmer Summary: 4 Stars
Purchased this in October and have been using til now. So been through plenty of use. It does what its supposed to, have not had any issues with it all. Just left out one star for it not being as powerful as trimmers I have had in the past(norelco brand, forget exact model). Otherwise, good quality and hope it lasts me a while. The battery definitely lasts a while, only recharge every 3 to 4 days.
Product Review: Good Trimmer For The Money Summary: 4 Stars
This trimmer has a good battery life in between charges. But, my old Wahl cordless, rechargeable seemed to have trimmed closer.
Product Review: Good Trimmer, Lousy Attachments Summary: 3 Stars
No complaints about the trimmer itself -- it is effective and easy to use. But the attachments are flimsy and you have to get the knack for shoving them on and taking them off. No instructions are provided for this. As a result I broke one attachment and had to order a new one from Wahl, which cost$5.99 plus and unconscionable $9.99 for shipping! Still the clipper is better than the last one I had.
Product Review: Good and cheap, but Summary: 4 Stars
If you want a very small beard (stubble-like), you can only really use the smallest setting (that means taking off the snap-on), and that means your beard will be almost non-existant. I guess it's ok if you don't mind letting your beard grow in over a day or two before you have to trim again.
Product Review: Good and cheap, but loud Summary: 4 Stars
Only complaint is that it is pretty loud. At least louder than my old battery powered panasonic beard trimmer. Other than that it has worked rather well for the month that I have had it.
