Worked nicely for the last 2 years. In the last couple of months, the motor didn't turn on. If I took the blades off, I could get the motor to start again by moving the very small metal dowel-looking pin that sticks out from the motor and makes the blades move. It was annoying to do this every time I wanted to shave, but it worked for a few weeks and the motor was running strong once I got it started. Now the motor won't start at all.
I'm thinking of buying the same model again (even though it seems to be made cheaply) because:
1) I don't have any confidence from reading other reviews that the more expensive models will last any longer or much longer.
2) For the price ($15 on Amazon), lasting 2 years comes out to less than $1 a month.

Just what I was looking for. No need to worry about built internal batteries not taking charges. Just replace AA batteries when weak. Truely portable. Can be used in Europe and Asia.Product Review: Great value works great

It works well enough, but looks and feels pretty cheap for the price and for a good brand name like Wahl. Also, the trimmer attachments can be awkward to put on and take off.
