Product Reviews of Wahl 79524-1001 Deluxe Chrome Pro with Multi-Cut Clipper & Trimmer, 27 PiecesProduct Review: A good solid haircut Summary: 5 Stars
I received the Wahl 27 piece clipper in great condition with all pieces and a zippered case. The clippers are very solid and quiet running compared to what I expected with such a reasonably priced unit. It has all types of cutting height guides including a L and R hand guide for around the top of the ears. It gave a nice cut without any pulling of the hair. It will not take long to pay for this set.
Product Review: A perfect cut Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not a professional, and I don't require a lot out of a haircut. Like many, I just decided to save a few bucks and run a 3-guard over my own head once a month or so. I went with the Wahl name, and I have no complaints after a year of great (and free) haircuts. The clipper is heavy and solid, which makes it easy to control. It's not too loud, but the vibration will leave your hand buzzing for a minute afterward. It came with tons of accessories in a great zipper carrying bag. I use the mirror, combs, ear-trim tool, and a couple of different guards to manage my hair and my beard (you'll obviously still need a razor for any close shave work). I used the little mini-trimmer for quick touch-ups, but it quickly ran its [included] AAA batteries dead and I haven't replaced them.
The Wahl clippers are easy to use (I'm left-handed, and it's no problem) and easy to clean, with no maintenance necessary. They have definitely met my high expectations and exceeded my needs.
Product Review: Above Average! Summary: 4 Stars
I have been through a lot of hair clippers and this is one of the best choices personally. Cuts very smoothly and some of the attachments help and come in handy. I recommend it for any beginner just starting out and those who have experienced many failed machines. This product will be of greay use.
Product Review: Absolutely terrible product Summary: 1 Stars
I first got this clipper a few months ago from amazon. It worked great the first time, but the second time I tried to use it, it made a terribly loud noise, really rendering it unusable. I went for a few months without a clipper before getting one at Target yesterday. But I accidentally got the same make and model, and guess the results? Even worse! I turned it on, and after a few short seconds, the clipper made that same terrible noise and then actually sputtered out and died. I'm returning it tomorrow.
Don't get this clipper!
Product Review: Alright Summary: 4 Stars
it's alright. It feels good in the hand. The blades it comes with don't get as close of a cut as others I have had. My kid dropped it on the tile floor and there was no damage.
