Product Review: Solid feel and does the job well

I've been cutting my own hair for about 6 years now, and my original Wahl's needed to be replaced after taking a few quick trips down to the tile floor. This newer clipper has a much sturdier body, and does a great job. The adapters are simple and work well, and the color coding is great. On my old set, I had a few hair cuts that were closer than intended after picking up the wrong clipper guard.
I suspect that clippers should be replaced every 5 years or so (based on my usage), and at $30 the price is right. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking to get into hair cutting.

I have cut my own hair for the past four years. I've owned two other haircutting sets, and used two others that my roommates owned as well. None of these others had the ease of cutting and options of length quite like this Wahl set has. I never have to worry about the trimmer slowing down during use (as I have thick hair). Also, I really like cutting my hair very short. This set has a 1/8" guard, which is shorter than some other sets I have owned.
If you buzz your head, this set is well worth the money that you will save from paying for haircuts.

I had the old hair system and this new one is GREAT. This machine is quiet and will save you hundreds. The DVD is great for the learner yet easy for anyone to use and love. I have owned several whole sets before but this one is hands down the best. The color coded blades make for easy use and the clippers glide through the hair like a knife through hot butter. I am a fan of the Wahl system sense I have 4 sons and let me tell you this is easy for anyone to use and you can save tons. A perfect present also.Product Review: There's a way to fix the noise

Yes it is loud, but if you adjust the screw on the right side, you can get rid of the noise. Use a phillips head screwdriver to tighten it, and when it gets too loud, unscrew it a little bit. With a little tweaking you can have it running fine.Product Review: These clippers are great!

I purchased these clippers to use on my little boys. They are 3 and their hairstyle is a fade. I have never given a haircut before but was excited to try it. Other reviews say the clippers are extremely loud, what are they talking about?! My battery powered toothbrush is louder than these clippers! I watched the DVD that is included and read the instruction book. Then I started the haircuts. At the hair dresser they usually use a No2 on the sides and a No3 on top but being it was my first time I used the No5 on the sides and No6 on top then trimmed it up with the scissors and they look excellent, I was surprised I could do such a good job!
The kit includes:
the clippers with a guide on it to let you know the sizes of the attachments, attachments No1-No8 + No12, 3 ear attachments, eyebrow attachment trimmer, a cover, a cord wrap, a safety plug cover, cape, brush to brush off loose hair, oil, cleaner brush, 1 comb (not 3),scissors, 2 hair clips (not 3) DVD, booklet, and hard case to keep it all.
I would definately recommend these clippers. It does say you may have to adjust the blade after a while but it shows you how on the DVD, and it's simple. Maybe now my husband will let me experiment on his head. :-)
