These wipes are very good at removing smudges and other stuff from eyeglasses or sunglasses, and I've also used them on a blackberry or iPad screen. The alcohol (or whatever solvent is used) does a great job of removing any naturally occuring oils from fingerprints or other skin surfaces that may have inadvertently touched your lens, yet they do not leave any excess moisture or other residue. (I would avoid the Flents biodegradable cloths because they do seem to leave a residue.)Product Review: Excellent Glass wipes

Definitely the easiest way to keep your eyeglasses clean. The small packets are easy to carry. And at this price there is no reason to mess around with tissues or cloths that might scratch your lens.
