Product Review: Does What It Says

I bought it exclusively to clean my running clothes - all polyester wicking material. The smell in those clothes seems to activate with sweat. WIN appears to deal with the smell pretty well. It's not perfect, but my wife thinks a longer pre-soak may be needed.
Incidentally, the shorts that I cut the built-in brief out of are much cleaner than the ones with it. WICKER's underwear and no liner was the best remedy for me. (I know, that's gross!)
Product Review: Essential For Washing Under Armor

I'm not sure how this stuff works, but it really works! My Under Armor gets really, really smelly... because I use it for its name; I wear it under my body armor when I'm patrolling. When I was in southern Texas, I would go on 4 mile hikes in 100+ degree heat with 90% humidity, with 40lbs of gear on, and would be wearing Under Armor shirts under my patrol body armor. It got REALLY smelly. I kept washing it again and again in regular detergent, but the smell wasn't going away.
Another officer recommended WIN, and I picked up a bottle at the local Dick's Sporting Goods. Washed my shirts like normal with this. Took them out and the smell was totally gone! This stuff REALLY works!! I've progressed on to washing anything that's 100% polyester and develops a smell... sheets, shorts, workout shirts, etc. I've also found that mixing it with just a small amount of regular detergent makes the clothes smell fresher than just WIN alone.
On a side note, the price on Amazon is really good. Dick's sells this for [...] a bottle.
Product Review: Funk be Gone!

Great performing product. Could not find anything to get the funk out of all my polyester based clothing. Tried everything vinegar, borax, baking soda, just ended up damaging some light colored garments.
Sport wash worked equally well but I favored the crisp clean scent of WIN.
Just wish it was sold by a gallon bottle with a dispenser nozzle like the Costco detergents. That would probably bring down the price since the shipping & packaging costs would go way down.

The title sums it up.
Wash items inside out, I use the extra rinse setting based on other Amazon reviews, don't use fabric softener.
Tech fabric clothes that previously kept that "cumulative buildup of funk" now smell fresh again. I don't know that the clothes need to be washed in this repeatedly, just every once in a while to restore the freshness.
The bottles are not like the typical size you'd buy detergent -- much smaller (higher cost per load of laundry). Likely not cost efficitent or even warranted for your every day laundry. But - the product does work well, so it's worth it.

I mountain bike hard for 1-2 hours at a time. No regular detergent (Tide, Cheer, etc.) that I've tried removes the odor out of my performance, synthetic bike clothing like this does. It works great in my high-efficiency washer, too. I haven't tried that Penguin stuff yet, though (it's kind of pricey).
