I got this for my 4-year-old son, who is 99.9 % potty trained but still has an accident every once in awhile. The cover is thick and zips over the entire mattress, so getting it on was initially difficult, but it's worth the work - much better than scrubbing a mattress and drying it.Product Review: better than i expected

i remember the plastic sheets my mom used to get for my little brother they were always flimsy and tore easily they had to be replaced almost monthly. I was soo pleasantly surprised when i received this because the plastic is soo thick, it did have a kind of a rubbery smell at first but that went away .Our dog and cat love to sleep with our daughter so even with claws constantly running up and down the bed the plastic has not torn yet.Another plus is since the plastic is so thick it doesnt make a lot of noise when our daughter dog or cat get on and off the bed.
