Customer Review: I Miss the Old Sinex!

The new orange packaging doesn't make it any better. I hoped that it meant that Vicks had gone back to the kind of safety seal the old formula had where the entire bottle had shrink-wrap so that any tampering would be very obvious, but no... it is still just a small tab of tape on the box.
As far as what is inside the bottle, anyone who used the old formula will be disappointed with this. I'm sure I was not the only one to write to Proctor & Gamble to complain. Their claim that only the 'inert' ingredients were changed, implying that it was just as good, was a big joke. Clearly, something in those 'inert' ingredients was not inert! As the old formula became impossible to find, it was selling on Ebay for as much as $45 per bottle!
Alas, it is what it is. Doesn't look like they ever intend to go back to the old formula. Probably, for most people, any decongestant spray with the same active ingredient would be just as good as this or better.
