Product Review: Very basic model, it works, but no frills!

It works quite well and keeps the air moist. It also makes very little noise. However, I ended up replacing it with a more expensive($49) model. Here are some of the features I would have liked.
1. There is no easy way to tell how much water is left, short of popping the top off. More expensive models let you see how much water is left. This was the most annoying feature for me.
2. To replace the water, you have to take the top off, set it to the side, and carry the bottom part to a water source. More expensive models let you detach a water holder and fill that.
3. On switch is on the cord. It just makes me nervous handling water and reaching for the power cord.
However, it does do the job! If you want more features, get a more expensive model. If not, this is a great device for the price.

I really love my vicks vaporizer! The air in my house has been so dry this winter with the heater and all. So my nose was just so dry. By the 3rd bloody nose this winter, I was fed up. So I searched around and found this. The reviews were good, so decided to buy it. I am very pleased and my nose is no longer dry or hurts anymore. Some nights I will even add a few drops of the essential oil eucalyptus. And that helps me breathe pretty good throughout the night.Product Review: works well, for a tiny space

Good, basic vaporizor, but don't expect it to significantly increase the humidity in your room. I only get a three percent increase with the doors closed. Product Review: Good item, good price

We've tried many vaporizers, but this one works wonderfully in many ways.
Water tends not to get as many particles after a full days use as smaller units for some reason
Night light nice but not too bright.
Unit fits perfectly in bathroom sink to be refilled.
Mine operates for about 15 or 16 hours before it needs to be refilled!
