I have used this product for about 4-years now, same unit and still works great and I run it all night every night. I bought it when my daughter was sick on recommendation from the doctor and continued using it for the white noise created at the high speed. My daughter never slept well and this white noise helped her a lot. It also makes a huge difference in the air, when I forget to turn it on at night now I know in the morning it was not on because I wake up thirsty. Like with anything, you have to complete proper maintenance...keep it filled with water, change filters as needed, and clean at least twice a month to keep the mold out. -- NOTE: The maintenance recommendation to run once a week with no water is only as long as it takes to dry the filter out and keep mold from growing on the filter. ALSO, if you do not properly screw the bottom back on after filling, the unit will leak. If properly screwed on, it will not. Highly recommended.Product Review: Great Product

I think this was a great purchase. Every year I suffer from stuffy noses, dryness, and nose bleeds during the winter season and this item really helped a lot. I usually keep it on the high speed for full effectivness because low speed seems like anything is barely coming out. I have had no problems at all with this item. It does have a quiet humming sound but I like it because im used to the humming sound from the air conditioner in the summer, not to mention it helps me sleep at night by blocking out any background noise from my family when they stay up late at night! :) I totally recommend this product to those of you who have the symptoms I encounter year after year. I bought this unit based on the reviews and the ones that said it had a very quiet low speed were dead on. I use this on low in a bedroom and you have to put your hand up to it to make sure its really on because it's so quiet. Works great and disperses a full container of water in about a day and a half. Easy to fill and carry. I only wish I had bought this one first.
