Product Review: Decent brightness...until the lens clouds-up

One year later: This flashlight is almost useless now. Afer a few uses, the front plastic lens is severly 'clouded-up', and there is no way to fix it. This 'clouding' cuts the light down by about 80%. As I understand, this is a common problem on flashlights that do not use GLASS lens covers. All you can do is unscrew the head, remove and discard the lens cover, and substitute it with plastic food wrap...just so you'll have a dust covering for the LED's.Product Review: What an idea!

Its always a great idea to keep a flashlight in your car, in case of an accident, in case you need to jump a vehicle or you never know. However, I would buy one and the next time I needed it, the batteries were dead and I was stranded or out of luck. Then I saw this Verilux product, it seemed like the perfect product and I bought two. I keep one in my car, which i've already needed 7 times and its always charged always handy. I keep the other one in my house, i've lost power twice and both times I found this flashlight easily due to that glow in the dark strip on it. This product saves money because you don't need to buy batteries, I simply leave it on my seat the next day and know its charged by the time I get back into my car. The light is bright, clear, and the product is pretty durable for a flashlight. What a great idea, what a great product! My parents have seen first hand how great this product is, they've bought one for themselves and plan on buying more to give out as gifts this holiday season.Product Review: excellent service from this flashlight

I bought two of these and have used them now for almost a year with nothing but good results - we keep them on a sunny window sill and they are always ready to go when we need them - which is virtually every night when we take the dogs out. We also take one with us on boating trips. Contrary to what another reviewer said happened to his, the lens on both of ours has remained totally clear and like new. If I had any complaint it would be that the on/of switch is too easily pressed and it's easy to accidentally turn it on or off.Product Review: solar powered flashlight

This little flashlight had to be assembled, which wasn't difficult to do, but I was surprised that some assembly is required. It's a powerful light that will come in handy during a power failure. It's just the right size to fit in your hand. The on and off switch could have been a little bigger but once you get used to it, it's fine.
