Product Review: a lot better than expected

After reading some of the reviews I was bit wary of purchasing this item, however, I'm glad I did.
The light it gives off is a clear white light excellent for reading. There is essentially no glare, no flickering, and absolutely no "fluorescent bulb humming" (it's 100% inaudible).
It's a good buy for the price (around $50), the build quality is high, and the styling is to my taste (but of course, that last point is subjective).
Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Verilux lamp.

This is my first verilux lamp and I say it's a great investment. It's one of my favorite lamps now. comfortable, bright lighting. I do notice that it helps reduce eye strain. I have replaced my old desk lamp with this, and I love it!
