Excellent floor lamp, with very good lighting from a easy on the eyes flourescent lamp, just like reading in natural light. The threee position brightness switch is especially useful for adjusting the lamp to the desired degree of brightness. It is also very easy to swing out of the way when getting up from your easy reading chair. The brushed antique brass gives it a very classy and comfortable English Library look. This lamp seems to be very well made. It does everything a reading lamp should do with the three light intensity settings. I love the natural light bulb--easy on the eyes. Nice to have a reading light without lighting up the room. Now my wife can read while watching tv without a glaring light in my eyes.
