If you use a magnifier to read small print, maps, etc. this model from Verilux is at the top of the heap in terms of visual clarity and lack of distortion. The rimless design, while stylish, does give one pause in terms of durability; however, it also reduces the weight and makes using the glass a more pleasant experience. My only criticism (which I was tempted to knock off a star for) is the minimal light output from the two LED's. Don't get me wrong, the light certainly helps, but it's not as strong as I would have wished. Ultimately I added the star back when I discovered they had the common sense to include two AAA batteries..... most of these don't. Also included is a nice storage case and perfunctory polishing cloth. Altogether a nice package.
