I ordered these bulbs for my Verilux lamp without realizing the base is not compatible with my Verilux lamps. My lamps, which are about a year old, require dual pin connectors, although the description of these bulbs, with a standard screw-in base, didn't mention the distinction. Everything else appears identical. I've kept the bulbs, deciding to use them in other, standard-base, lamps. But that begs the question, "why buy the lamps from Verilux at all if the bulbs are interchangeable?" I'm just saying.....
