I had pre-ordered this set just for fun and to satisfy a shaving brush aquisition disorder along with a shave soap aquisition disorder. I wish I had owned something like this when I first started wet shaving.
It was shipped on Thursday the 24th of March. I received it the next day the 25th and shaved with it on the 26th. I am very pleased with this set. You could own only this set and not need any other soap or brush. The brush is pure badger and is a great brush. Soap is an improved one over the Deluxe (which is also a good soap for the money). It lathers great and is slick and protective for the blade. The scent is faintly reminiscent of cucumber. The apothocary mug is easy to use. Style wise is goes hand in hand with the brush. Both being a shiny black. And the stand for the brush is a thick heavy plastic which also has a slot for your razor. I'm liking this a lot. It is well worth the price of the product. If you're just starting out wet shaving, this is a great way to start. If you're an old pro, then this something worth adding to your collection.
