I have used this saline with my Bausch & Lomb PureVision Multi-focal contacts for over two years. I too am sensitive to preservatives in eye solutions.
I write the date I open each saline bottle in the allocated date space on the bottle; regular ballpoint ink works fine. I use all of one bottle in 30 days, so this works for me.
I use Clear Care contact lens cleaner with no rubbing. My fingers are so rough from housework and gardening that I could scratch my contacts if I rubbed them. I flush the contacts as per Clear Care instructions, and my lenses are clean all of the time.
I use the Unisol 4 saline to rinse my contacts if what is in my clean lens case is not enough, and to wet my old, dry eyes with contacts in during the day.
