The brace did wonders for me! I have had back pain since I was 13, and this is the only product that finally gave me releif!
However... I can see why some people would have problems. It is far too uncomfortable to wear against your skin, I wear an undershirt beneath it. You cannot be lazy, while it is far easier to have good posture with this brace, you still have to make sure it is pulling your shoulders *back and not *up. I also noticed it riding up my neck, but it didn't bother me so much, my back still felt good.
Notice that the connector is a bra connector. My boyfriend didn't want to wear it because he thought people would think he was wearing a bra. I think some men might find this product embarrassing. Also, it's pretty small, and it wasn't even close to fitting him, and he's not that wide.
I had a very good experience, but this product is definitely not for everyone. I suppose a lot depends on what exactly is wrong with your posture. If you tend to arch your shoulders forward, like me, it's wonderful! But if you tend to slouch, it might not be so good.

I ordered one of these to help my posture. It definitely pulls your shoulders back which does, in fact, help your posture. The problem is that the straps cut off the blood flow to your arms. Your arms start tingling and that's just the start of its uncomfortableness. After a while, the straps bruised my arms. My posture was corrected wearing it but the price on my physical comfortableness was too high to pay.Product Review: Works but uncomfortable so I recommend....

I was recommended this kind of support by a professional massage therapist. I sit at a desk for at least 8 hrs a day and go to school at night so my neck and shoulders are in moderate to severe discomfort, especially towards the end of the work week.
I definitely feel the Underworks posture perfect band working when I wear it. The first time I wore it for more then the initial minute (to figure out the hook placement in the back), it was uncomfortable. My shoulders and my back were fine; the area is the irritated was under your arms. I looked at other posture support bands (shouldersback particularily) but they were significantly more money plus I did not want to get burnt spending that much dough (shouldersback was $50 without shipping) so I tried the cheaper alternative. To overcome the irritation under my arms, I found an old suit jacket that had shoulder pads exposed (the jacket was not lined). I cut the shoulder pads off of that jacket and used safety pins to adhere the shoulder pads around the band. This will work best b/c I can remove the shoulder pads to wash weekly. For the price, definitely worth it. Definitely look into finding shoulder pads before buying this product. I managed to wear the band (without my shoulder pad contraption) for 4 hours over a short sleeve t-shirt that had cap sleeves but would ultimately like to wear under my clothing for the entire work day. The band is discrete and not bulky and even with the shoulder pads I will be able to do so.
Not bad for the price.

It does have a few setbacks like...being tight around the arms if you wear it for a long period, it may hurt your underarms. If the back band rides up over your shoulder blades, it makes the band ineffective. Overall, I found it very helpful in correcting my posture!
