Product Review: Love it and hate it Summary: 5 Stars
I love the ease of this toothbrush, it seems very effective and would gladly recommend it.
However...
The company has gone out of business!
So replacement heads are hard to find and when they are, they're up to 3 times their original cost. The knuckleheads that have these think people will spend as much for the replacement heads as they will for buying a new electronic toothbrush. Sad but true.
Product Review: ULTREO THE BEST TOOTHBRUSH EVER IS BACK IN BUSINESS! Summary: 5 Stars
This toothbrush is the best I have ever used; after being given this toothbrush a few years back, I have not gone back... But, my final replacement head had finally died....and as others have noted, the company had gone out of business. Since I couldn't justify spending several hundred dollars on a replacement head, I started to look for new options, but just discovered that, as of the end of 2010, Ultreo is now back in business, with new backing from veterans from the dental business....and will soon be selling subscriptions for replacement heads!!!!
Product Review: Used toothbrush incorrectly advertised as new - YUCK Summary: 1 Stars
This toothbrush was advertised as new, yet when I got it, it was clearly used. Yuck. I had to order a new brush for it. Dont order from this person again. Ripoff!!
Product Review: gets high marks by my dental hygienist Summary: 5 Stars
I've been an Ulteo user for years and before I found Ulteo I thought it was "normal" for my gums to bleed a little now and then. No way! They're never supposed to bleed and ever since I've been using the Ulteo, my gums and teeth have been healthy and clean. No matter what brush you use, you are still supposed to floss, and I do, and there still is NO bleeding! I wish the parts weren't so expensive and that they were still in business. The scoop is that there was a patent problem and the Sonic Toothbrush has therefore been able to replace the Ultreo market. I've bought a Sonic TB and will do my own comparison since I will eventually need to find a replacement electric TB as Ulteo brush-heads become more scarce.
