Product Review: FAULTY DESIGN -- STAY AWAY OR WAIT FOR BETTER
Summary: 1 Stars

Failed after only a few months. Support sent me a new brush head, but that also failed, this time within a few weeks. Failure mode is handle is vibrating, but head isn't oscillating. I threw this in the trash and bought a Sonicare. I've used a Sonicare at my other home for years without problem.

I liked the idea of the Ultreo but didn't get enough use to really compare the effectiveness.

Product Review: Finally, a battery toothbursh that seems to work as advertised
Summary: 5 Stars

I was skeptical about this claimed 'ultra-sound' brush, but after my first month of use I'm now an avid fan. I've not been to my dentist yet to confirm if any health improvements, but the claim that teeth feel super-clean is true! After each brushing, the teeth are smooth and slippery as if polished. And, I've noticed too that the high-frequency vibrating dislodges many tiny bits of food and snacks often hidden away between my back teeth.

So, yes I would say this device is a big-step improvement for tooth care.

Product Review: First Impressions
Summary: 5 Stars

Just got mine 2 days ago. I noticed my teeth are squeaky clean and are brighter after the few times I have used it. I am anxious to see how my teeth appear over the next 2 to 4 weeks. The clean feeling lasts longer after brushing. The brush is gentle on the gums. I became interested after my dentist mentioned the product. She believes her teeth felt cleaner after using. This is a new product and time will tell the tale. However, at this point, my initial impression is very positive. Notice: take time to read the directions, they make a difference in the results.

Product Review: For Coffee Lovers
Summary: 5 Stars

I've tried a few electronic toothbrushes in my time with all kinds of special gyratory features that unless you have a BA in dentistry the layman would have no idea what the heck all the jargon meant. This is the first toothbrush I have came across that uses ultrasound to remove plaque and really seems to get underneath the annoying coffee stains that other brushes can't. With this thing you can usually get a good brushing in just over a minute and eliminate the bleeding gums that the dentist recommended two minutes might give most of us. Good design, effective and a little pricey, but hey, if you love coffee like me, investing in an ultrasound toothbrush isn't such a bad idea.

Product Review: Gave Ultreo A Chance, But It Doesn't Clean Well
Summary: 2 Stars

My dentist of the past ten years raved about Ultreo, so I thought I'd give it a try. I have bad gums and so I thought Ultreo would be better than Sonicare. Unfortunately, Ultreo is clumsy to use and I don't get the nice "clean" feeling I usually get with my Sonicare. The head is too big and the bristles don't seem to move fast enough. I charged it for over a week and the so-called "sonic" vibrations are still weak. The rubber in the middle is awkward and I'm confused on where it's supposed to touch. My dentist suggested I don't "brush" but just move the Ultreo over my teeth and gums. Unfortunately, this results in such a gentle motion that I still have food stuck between my teeth after brushing, something that wasn't true of Sonicare!! Thinking back to how my dentist pushed Ultreo at me, I realize now he made a commission on every sale, so he's not exactly a disinterested party in this. I wasted over $100 on this, and now it's back to Sonicare.
