Product Review: better than the other less expensive models available

This unit worked some for both my wife and my 14 year old dog with mixed results
It simply wasn't strong enough to work well on me.
I suspect the unit has a rather generous safety factor built in so you don't injure yourself with it
Once I tested it and knew it was working via the procedure given to me by the company who did respond reasonably well, I determined the unit just wasn't going to work for me.
I have to say the instructions were decent enough.
To know if the unit is even working, put a drop of water on the head and try all 3 settings and you can see it moving the water via ultrasound.
I have since purchased a professional unit which has 1 mhz and 3.3 mhz and a 3 year warranty and can be used under water which set me back just under $1200
My pro unit worked wonders on me...
My pro unit also heats up well...I can't praise it enough...made by Rich Mar I believe
Still, I love my old dog and this unit was worth the purchase just for him.
This unit did produce a JND (just noticeable difference- barely)
which convinced me I needed the real deal
I have more confidence in this unit due to the reviews I found here and around the net to at least make a slight difference and since my poor old dog groaned with pleasure and stretched out so I could work it on him....I kept the unit
especially since I could use it on him without gel or shaving him
I suggest you find a professional that has a pro unit of some type and find out if this type of therapy will even help you out before making the purchase
If you do find and purchase a pro unit, take the time to learn how to use it properly so you don't injure yourself with it.
But if you just HAVE to try one....get this unit and not the other cheapos
and if you decide to try a pro unit, get one that has a warranty that covers the head as well and is submersible
