Product Review: They keep sending the SILVER scale

I picked this scale out for Christmas and need it in BLACK for my office. Well, the first one that was shipped was Silver...marked right on the box. I returned it and ordered another one....SILVER again even after I wrote the complaint as a reason for the refund. It says BlACK in the description....I wanted BLACK, not silver.
Also, they don't tell you in the description that you need an adapter for AC use. Amazon sells them but it would be nice to know that before you buy it. The adapter does not come with the scale...it must be purchased separately. You can use DC batteries for the scale if you don't want to use the AC adapter.
Another thing...I know this is an inexpensive scale, but it would be nice if the lettering on the front of the scale was actually reasonably lined up and straight...it looks like a kid from elementary school put the lettering on. Believe it or not, it actually takes the same amount of money to print the lettering straight then it does crooked.

I ordered this in black but instead I got a silver. Oh well, I'm not too picky on that but I just thought the black looked so much cooler! Anyway, this scale works great. I didn't know that batteries and/or adapter were sold separately, so I ended up ordering an adapter here on amazon after receiving the scale. If I had known in the first place, I would've ordered both together on combined shipping. I guess that didn't bother me too much, but if this were an item I had needed asap and for frequent use, I probably would've been pissed off a bit. The adapter I got works great and I like using this rather than batteries! I will be sending out more orders in the future here and I can't wait to put this scale more into action! I sell a lot of things on Ebay and got this scale to help me ship everything both quickly and easily. It does the job. Much easier than going to the post office and it's paid for itself, since I'm able to tell people the correct price and no longer underestimate postage. This was to be a second scale for my natural foods buying club to use in weighing bulk items. We already have a Weigh Max shipping scale 150 weight with which we're quite happy.
The Ultraship was defective on arrival: One of the digits did not display properly, and thus weights could not be read.
Thank goodness for Amazon's easy return process.
I would not purchase the Ultraship brand of scale again. I recommend the Weigh Max.
